Rekindle the Magic of Fairy Tales

One of my favorite fairy tales growing up was Thumbelina. I remember dressing up as Thumbelina to give a book report on her story.

I still love fairy tales and magical stories, which is why I am working on a short story with trolls, angels, and zombies. Irish myths and legends inspired my young adult novel-in-progress.

Magic is alive and well, but like Tinkerbell, it will fade if we don’t believe. When’s the last time you saw the magic behind the science of a flower blooming? We understand the world and it’s magic more than our ancestors from hundreds or thousands of years ago. Just because we can talk in terms of atoms or the rotation of the planets or changing of the seasons doesn't diminish the magic and miraculous nature of our lives and the Universe we live in.
